Honda Australia is recalling a number of 2015 Honda Civic hatch range earlier this week, as the said vehicles were delivered with the incorrect owner’s manual! No, really…
According to Honda Australia, 1334 units of the Civic hatch were delivered with the European owner’s manual, which does not contain certain Australia content, like information regarding seat belt emergency locking retractor (ELR), automatic locking retractor (ALR) warning, rear centre child seat anchor-point installation and the vehicle’s maximum towing weight.
Affected owners will be contacted directly by Honda Australia and have their manuals replaced for free of charge.
No, this recall does not affect our local Civic, as ours are locally-assembled.
