TC Euro Cars, the official distributor of Renault cars locally has announced that the new Renault Clio GT Line is now available at all showrooms nationwide.
Under the hood of the new Renault is the company’s Turbo Control Efficiency (TCe) 120 engine. The Clio GT Line is mated to a six-speed Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) that transfers 120 PS and 190 Nm from the engine to the front wheels. From standstill, the Clio GT Line can hit 100 km/h in just 9.9 seconds, yet is able to deliver up to 5.2L/100km. ECO mode, when turned on, can contribute to another 10% of fuel savings.
Inside, the Renault Clio GT Line features a 7-inch touchscreen MediaNav System with USB and Bluetooth, auto headlights and rain sensors, keyless entry and push start button with walkaway lock function, cruise control and speed limiter, motorway mode indicators and the Renault Bass Reflex system. A total of four airbags come standard on the Clio GT Line ensures that passengers are well protected. Active safety kit comprises of Electronic Stability Control, Roll Movement Intervention, ABS, Emergency Brake Assist as well as Hill Start Assist.
The Renault Clio GT Line features several Renault Sport design elements, like the front grille, bespoke GT-design front and rear bumpers, unique rear spoiler, LED daytime running lights, GT Line badging and a chrome tip muffler. The new Clio receives a unique set of 17-inch alloy wheels all round.
Priced at RM11,800 exclusive of insurance, the Renault Clio GT Line can be had in four colours, namely Malta Blue, Diamond Black, Glacier White, while the Flame Red is an extra RM5,000. According to TC Euro Cars, the service interval for the new Clio GT Line is every 10,000 km or six months, whichever comes first. It also comes with a five-year unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty.
