When it comes to drift cars, the ideal recipe involves a well-balanced and cheap platform coupled with a high revving engine. Say hello to Daigo Saito’s latest drift machine, which is a Lamborghini Murciélago. Wait, what?!
Yes, Daigo Saito has worked alongside Liberty Walk Japan to put together this drifting Lamborghini Murciélago. The Italian exotic now features Liberty Walk Japan’s (in)famous wide fender kit, large GT wing and green wheels. Being a drift car, the Lamborghini’s body is littered with sponsor stickers.
Thankfully, the 6.5-litre V12 engine is retained, but with HKS pod filter fitted. All 650 ponies gets transferred to the rear wheels (because drift car) via the standard six-speed manual transmission, but Daigo plans to fit a sequential gearbox when budget allows. Steering angle has also been increased thanks to a new steering knuckle kit.
