Highway users will soon see an increase in toll rates from this Thursday

Frequent toll users will soon be paying more for tolls, as several toll operators have revised their toll rates, beginning 15 October, which is this coming Thursday.

The highways include the Kajang Traffic Dispersal Ring Road (SILK), KL-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR), Maju Expressway (MEX), Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway (KLK),  Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE) and the SMART tunnel.

Those driving on SILK will soon need to pay RM1.80, while vehicles with two axles and five or six wheels, excluding buses, will need to pay RM3.60. As for DUKE users, the toll rates have increased to RM2.50 at the Ayer Panas, Kampung Batu and Sentul Pasar toll booths. For drivers on the MEX, toll rates at Salak South will be increased to RM2.00, while the Putrajaya toll rate will be RM3.50.

Drivers on the KLK will soon need to pay RM6.00 at the Gombak toll, while those going through the Bentong toll will need to pay RM3.50. For LATAS users traveling through the Kuang Timur, Kuang Barat, Ijok and Templer tolls, the new rate will be RM2.50, while those going through the Kundang Barat and Kundang Timur tolls will need to pay RM1.30.

Lastly, those travelling through the SMART tunnel will need to pay RM3.00.
