Creative Fest 2014 was held in Johor Bahru on 4th & 5th January 2014. The event was organized by the Malaysia Design Development Centre (DDEC) a subsidiary of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) and under the auspices of Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKLW).
Creative Fest 2014 which was launched by YB Tuan Haji Md Jais Bin Hj Sarday (Johor Exco of Education, Information, Entrepreneurship Development and Corperation) representing the Johor Menteri Besar , YAB Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Bin Nordin was held at Danga Bay Convention Centre, Johor Bahru on 4th January 2014 ( Saturday).
Apart from the two days seminar, other activities included a special showcase from our friends at ‘Art Of Speed Malaysia’ with more than 70 units of contemporary cars, 20 units motorcycles and 14 units lowriders (custom bicycles). There was also special appearance of the Johor Drift Trike Community.
Art of Speed also featured two artistes in the Kustom Kulture Scene, Ju Joop from Singapore specialising in leather handicraft and Dean Rolling from Johor Bahru who is a pinstripe artist. There were exhibitions and sales of various local independent brands of clothing at ‘Tempatan Fest 4.0’ such as Abstrax, Legit, Rare, SSCG, District and many more.
Kelab Speda Tua Johor and Vespa Johor club were also in attendance. There were over 30 other activities such as parkour, BMX show, football freestyle, beatboxing and workshop, performance from Project Rabak, indie band performance from KLPN, lomography and even a graffiti wall.
