When Lamborghini was teasing the open-top Huracan, they said, “the sky will never be the same” and now we finally find out what they meant by that. The company has just released their first promotional clip that illustrates that the sky will always be sunny when you drive a Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder, or at least on top of it.
The electrically operated roof needs 17 seconds to fully open or close and it can be activated through the button mounted on the center console at speeds of up to 50 km/h. The driver can also lower the rear window to amplify the unique engine note of the Spyder.
Speaking of engine note, the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder is powered by the same 5.2-litre V10 as the hard top Huracán, producing 610 hp and 560 Nm of torque. The Spyder is able to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds before reaching a top speed of 324 km/h. Despite the engine’s large capacity, its ECE standardized fuel consumption is a jsut 12.3 L/100 km, thanks to the new stop start technology and cylinder on demand feature.
Deliveries of the Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder are expected to begin in the spring of 2016 and it is priced at 186,450 Euros (about RM908,585 before tax).
