The 911 GT3 RS models have always stood for top sportiness and emotional appeal. Its direct correlation with motorsports makes possible uncompromising driving dynamics and an intensive driving experience. Never before has a “GT street vehicle” been closer to its Cup and RSR cousins, both visually and functionally,” said Arnt Bayer, Chief Executive Officer of SDAP.

Powering the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a 4.0-litre flat-six that pushes out a maximum of 500 hp and 460 Nm of torque that is mated to a seven-speed PDK transmission. This engine boasts the largest displacement and the most power amongst the 911 family. Standby to 100 km/h takes a mere 3.3 seconds, and reaching 200 km/h takes just 10.9 seconds.

In line with its motorsports heritage, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS can declutch by paddle neutral, which is comparable to depressing the clutch with a regular manual gearbox, and a Pit Speed button that limits the car’s speed.

For the first time ever, the roof is made out of magnesium, while carbon fibre is used for the engine and luggage compartment lids. This helps to shed the RS’s weight by roughly 10 kg. The lighter roof also means that the car’s centre of gravity gets lowered, which enhances handling. The 911 GT3 RS also has the widest tyres of any 911 model as standard.

Inside the cockpit of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, the interior design is heavily inspired by the current 911 GT3, with various Alcantara bits here and there. Drivers will appreciate the full carbon fibre bucket seats that are based off the ones from the Porsche 918 Spyder.

The Club Sport Package comes standard with the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and with that comes a bolted-on roll cage behind the front seats, preparation for a battery master switch, and separately provided six-point safety harness for the driver and fire extinguisher with mounting bracket. If that isn’t enough, buyers can opt for the Sport Chrono Package, which adds an integrated timer that can be hooked up to a smartphone via the Porsche Track Precision app.

Base price of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS starts from RM1.75 million. Buyers will be backed by a 4-year factory warranty. The stated price excludes registration fee, road tax and insurance.
