Mazda is hoping to tempt UK buyers who have yet to own their 2 hatchback with a feisty Sport Black Edition. The Ford Fiesta rival features a sportier exterior trim and more standard equipment, with the company offering the option of two exterior graphic designs and contrasting mirrors.
The Sport Black builds on the equipment found on SE-L Nav spec, which includes cruise control, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with DAB digital radio and Bluetooth, all-round electric windows and air conditioning. The special edition supermini adds in rear privacy glass, rear parking sensors auto headlights and auto wipers.
As for the exterior, the Mazda 2 Sport Black wears 16- inch gunmetal wheels, a front splitter, side skirts and a rear roof spoiler, all painted in Brilliant black. The optional KODO graphic starts from the headlights and follows the shoulder lines of the body while the also optional Race graphic is applied low down behind the front wheel. Mazda offers for free the Soul Red Metallic body paint while the Snowflake White Pearlescent colour are available as an option with additional cost.

The new Mazda 2 Sport Black is now available in the UK for order, in Malaysia, the ‘regular version’ supermini retails at RM85,470.
