Honda sums itself up in a new video called “Ignition” [+video]

If there’s one thing we know for sure, there’s no other company with the heritage of engineering across as many categories like Honda. Every year, the Japanese automaker produces something innovative and fun from friendly-looking robots to jet planes and F1 cars.

This latest promo ad is their latest ploy in marketing efforts to show people what they have achieved throughout the years. Honda is extremely good at promoting itself and while the video below doesn’t make much sense, but it sure is fun and exciting to watch, just like the brand itself!

Dubbed the “Ignition,” the 90-second spot with the tagline “Dare to do what others only dream of,” pictures a space launch, to give that feeling of daring and human endeavor, perfectly supported by the print artwork with Asimo the robot up-front and fabulously complicated hybrid V6 power units spewing flames from the Formula 1 cars in back. Then there’s the family in the HR-V in the middle, defying gravity and sipping from juice boxes, because space is for everyone.
