The dash cam footage video below shows the force of a mini tornado caused by Typhoon Soudelor, that ravaged Taiwan last weekend.
Typhoons are considered as a norm at this time of year in the South China Sea and Pacific, picking up strength from warm waters before losing strength over land. However, what we have witness on the video below is nothing like we’ve seen before.
It shows a car proceeding along a seemingly quiet road when suddenly a strong gust of wind becomes even greater, forcing the Hyundai Getz in front to be blown away, disappearing into sight as the mini tornado passes through.
This Taiwanese driver, in the car with the dash-mounted camera, must have been one of the luckiest people on Earth! He not only caught amazing footage of a tornado sucking up the car, but it happened meters in front of his own car, which miraculously remained planted on the ground.
