While we acknowledge that Moto GP legend Valentino Rossi is a speed demon in two wheels, he is also notable as a person with a kind heart. Recently he was involved in the “Adam & Vale for Charity” project where he collaborated with designer Aldo Drudi, to create a special one-off Opel Adam for charity.

Rossi who is also an Opel brand ambassador, provided the inspiration of the styling and decals based on his exploits in Moto GP with the help of Drudi. Rossi also added his personal favorite number, 46 into the designs of this special one-off Adam. The interior has been enhanced with  Dainese leather finishing that mimics Rossi’s racing suit.

“The task was to invent a completely new car, and for a good cause. No sooner had I spoken with Opel, I was already discussing with Drudi how to design this special ADAM”, commented Rossi.

Rossi’s and Drudi’s masterpiece will be put on auction via eBay where proceeds of the auction will be channeled to the Meyer Children’s Hospital Foundation. The car is currently standing at €14,000 in just a few days bidding, just in time for Christmas. For sure the proceeds will provide a very meaningful Christmas gift to the needy.

“The car has turned out beautifully and we’re happy that it will be used to support the Meyer Hospital. We hope that this choice fires up everybody with the same enthusiasm we feel, because we can accomplish a lot together”, concluded Rossi and Drudi.
