In honour of the Targa Florio, a legendary mountain-side race in Sicily, Porsche has unveiled the 911 Targa 4S Exclusive Mayfair Edition, created by Porsche Exclusive.
Limited to just 10 units, this special edition sports car pays tribute to the race that inspired Porsche to create the 911 Targa in the first place.
In fact, Porsche won 11 Targa Florio races, including one where a 911 Carrera RS edged out prototypes from both Ferrari and Alfa Romeo.
To highlight the car’s exclusivity, customers will have the option to customize and personalize the 911 Targa with classic touches, or something that would reflect their life. Some people do like their 911s to look as modern as possible.
Either way, the 911 Targa is undoubtedly a beautiful car to begin with. Performance should come from the same 3.8-litre engine that produces 400PS and 440 Nm of torque, similar to the one fitted in the regular Targa 4S. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds via manual transmission or 4.3 seconds when equipped with PDK.
