When the Gamescon expo opens today, visitors will be greeted with the new Ford Focus RS. Visitors at the expo are also in for a treat, as the Focus RS will be piloted by non other than Top Gear’s Stig!
The appearance of the Ford Focus RS marks the European debut of Forza Motorsport 6, which features a Ford GT on the cover. Speaking of which, the Ford GT will also be making an appearance alongside the Focus RS at Gamescon in Cologne. Forza Motorsport 6 will be exclusively available to the Xbox One console.
The livery on the Focus RS is the winning design from a contest that the Blue Oval organized for player of Forza Horizon 2. Boasting the same 2.3-litre engine as the Ford Mustang EcoBoost, the Focus RS’s powerplant churns out 345 hp and 440 Nm of torque. Unlike its predecessors, the new Focus RS has the new Ford Performance All-Wheel-Drive system with selectable Drive Modes, which includes an ambitiously-sounding Drift Mode!
