Just a day before the official launch , someone has managed to photograph the latest Alfa Romeo Giulia. The Alfa Romeo Giulia will be the Italian’s answer to the BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class after the departure of the iconic 159 in 2012. Let’s take a closer look shall we?
From the photo, the emblem on the boot confirms the new model’s name as Giulia, with a black bootlid spoiler and black wheels for a sportier appearance. The Giulia pictured here also sports a rear diffuser and possibly a quad exhaust set up.
According to Carscoops, this particular Alfa Romeo Giulia is the hotter Quadrifoglio Verde (QV) variant, which could very well be powered by a new Ferrari-sourced V6 engine, reportedly with around 480 horsepower. Other engines include a turbocharged inline-four, possibly. Quadrifoglio Verde is Alfa Romeo’s performance arm, similar to AMG and M for Mercedes-Benz and BMW, respectively.
Even with these two blurry shots, we can’t help but to fall in love with this Italian sedan. Perhaps this is the reaction of some of us right now.
Stay tuned for more updates!
