Nissan owners take note. Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM), the sole distributor and assembler of Nissan vehicles in Malaysia has announced that together with Tan Chong Express Auto Service Centre (TCEAS), would like to recall the Nissan X-Trail, Teana and Liberty for an airbag inflator module replacement for the front passenger airbag.
A total of 12,444 Nissan units in Malaysia are involved in this recall. They are:

However, do note that this exercise does not affect the Nissan X-Trail (T32) which was launched in Malaysia in January 2015, and all other current selling Nissan models.

All labour and replacement parts for this service is FREE of charge and will be at no cost to owners.
