Slotting above the Hyundai Sonata, the Hyundai Genesis is Hyundai’s flagship model. The new Hyundai Genesis is Hyundai’s answer for a full-sized luxury sedan. In fact, the Hyundai Genesis already looks the part, with its large gaping chrome front grille and HID headlights giving it a very menacing look. Speaking of the front, the Hyundai Genesis boasts its own emblem. Our local Hyundai Genesis sports 18-inch alloy wheels all round, with 245/45R18 rubbers.

Coming in at 4,990 mm, the Hyundai Genesis is long, and boasts a wheelbase of 3,010 mm. These numbers translate into a very spacious interior. Legroom at the rear is generous, and the premium leather seats are ventilated. The driver’s seat is eight-way electronically adjustable and has memory function.

The Hyundai Genesis sports an 8-inch colour TFT display for its infotainment purposes, and has AUX, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. The leather-wrapped steering wheel has audio controls for better convenience. Audio is backed by a 7.1 channel 14 speaker set up from Lexicon.

An 8-speed automatic gearbox transfers all the power to the rear wheels of the Hyundai Genesis. From standstill, the Hyundai Genesis can sprint to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds.
