I came across this project by an artist named Fabian Oefner and I am blown away by the results! The photographer has individually photographed each piece of part from a model and pieced it all together in an image. It looked so sublime and a snapshot of a car exploding or dismantling.
As a photographer myself, I can definitely see the amount of effort and time put into this project. The small amounts of detail as well as taking each part by part. That is easily more than a thousand photos all compiled together, let alone getting the lighting correct for each part!
