The Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce made a debut at the Geneva Motor Show last month, and recently at the 2015 Shanghai Auto Show, its Asian debut. This year also marks the 10th year anniversary of Lamborghini’s entry into the Chinese market.
Limited to just 600 units, the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce is properly ‘limited’. Weighing 50 kg less than the regular Aventador and boasting 750 hp (hence the LP750-4 moniker, 4 stands for 4WD) from the naturally-aspirated V12, the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce can sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, and top speed exceeds 350 km/h.
Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said, ‘‘After the worldwide debut last March at the Salon de l’Automobile in Geneva, today we present here in Asia the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce. This new car represents the perfect combination of Lamborghini’s expertise in lightweight engineering and sophisticated technical features. The new Aventador LP 750-4 is the most exclusive, pure and emotional car in our current model range.’’
Apart from the stonking new Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce, the Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition also made an Asian debut at the Shanghai Auto Show, in which Lamborghini said, “celebrates the long and ongoing collaboration between the Raging Bull and the prestigious Italian tire manufacturer.“
