One of the joys of becoming a footballer in a world-class team, apart from getting paid by the millions, football players can also get free endorsements from generous sponsors. One such example is the football players from Spanish football giants, Real Madrid. This time, Christmas came early for Christiano Ronaldo and his merry men as Audi, one of the team’s sponsor, decided to allow players to choose a vehicle from their range.
That being said, the Real Madrid boys can choose from the R8 super car, RS5 coupe, RS4 super saloon, Q7 SUV, A8 luxury saloon, A3 hatchback and many more. Interestingly, a huge majority of the players opted for the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI SUV (pictured above), prompting the soccer moms stereotype among these footballers. Christiano Ronaldo meanwhile needed a fast and practical car so he took home the RS6 Avant sports wagon (pictured below). The team manager, Carlo Ancelotti, chose the typical choice for bosses, which was the Audi A8. Oddly enough, the team’s reserve goal keeper, Jesus Fernandez Collado, decided to go small and humble with his choice of wheels, the Audi A3 2.0L TDI. Strangely, none of the players wanted the Audi R8 sports car.
