DRIVE M7 SIC Racing Team is currently making their way to the Termas de Río Hondo circuit for the Argentine GP after scoring the team’s first (5) points in Austin, United States GP.
“The Termas de Río Hondo is a nice track with great layout, it’s good to be back in Argentina,” says Johan Stigefelt (Stiggy), the team’s manager.
“I’m happy we have scored our first points and we’re looking forward to build on this. We have something new to try immediately when we touch down so I will be looking foward to see how it turns out. We have also seen better progress with Zulfahmi in Austin GP and I am confident we can see this in the next race.”
The Latin America circuit is well known for being hard on the tyres due to high speed, hard braking and high camber angles. The track has five left-hand and nine right-hand corners.
“I love the circuit in Argentina. There are lots of fast corners and braking points that I enjoy a lot. We have made progress and I’m comfortable with my bike. I feel that I can push more and be strong from the start and am looking to work like in Austin again,” says Zulfahmi.
The Argentina GP race day begins at midnight Malaysian time with the Moto3 race, followed by Moto2 at 0120 HRS and MotoGP 0300 HRS.
