Volkswagen has dropped a few teaser images and videos of the GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo virtual car, set to be offered exclusively in the Grand Turismo 6 video game.
It represents a follow-up to last year’s GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo only this time it takes the shape of a three-door hatchback with an extremely wide body kit. It gets a huge front splitter made from carbon-fibre, flared wheel-arches and a prominent rear wing also made from carbon-fibre.
The same lightweight material has been used for the rear diffuser which hosts dual round exhaust tips featuring a metallic finish. It also appears to have full LED headlights with LED daytime running lights mounted to the front fascia.
Details of the powertrain is not known at this point, but expected it to be revealed soon during the official unveiling.
The GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo will likely be revealed in metal next month at the Wörthersee show in Austria and then it will eventually make the transition to the virtual world.
