Imagine ordering a taxi ride through Uber and you’ll have a choice between what kind of car you want or need; Uber Black for standard fare, Uber X for the lowest cost available, Uber Taxi to order a regular cab, Uber SUV if you need to move more people or even Uber Lux if you want a luxury town car service. Apparently customers in Singapore get better perks of being picked up in a sexy supercar!
The pilot program was launched in collaboration with Dream Drive and it allow customers to be picked up in either a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder or a Maserati GranTurismo to get around the town. Booking made for the Maserati will set customers back at $165 for the first 15 minutes and $7 for every subsequent minute. The Lamboghini on the other hand, gets the same per-minute rate but begs $200 base rate.
All you have to do is to download the Uber app for iPhone or Andriod and request a “Supercar” by moving the slider to either the Lamborghini or the Maserati icon, and pressing “Set Pickup Location”. If a car is available it will come directly to you and you will be riding to your destination in style!
