After the successful launch of the all-new Honda Civic Type R at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Honda is now inviting Type R fans and owners to a special event held at Germany’s famous Nürburgring!
Called the Type R experience, Type R fans and owners will have the opportunity to purchase a 3-day (15-17 May) package for €175 per person (RM700) which includes a VIP entrance ticket to the WTCC race with paddock access, camping accommodation, food & drinks throughout the weekend and of course a speed date with the new Honda Civic Type R.
This invitation is open for all, so if you’re interested in going, Honda has put together a dedicated website, click here where all you have to do is follow the registration process. You’ll have to hurry though, because registration closes on 17th April 2015 and places are strictly limited.
This is your chance to take the 306hp and 400Nm of torque hot hatch on a lap of the circuit and also witness the first WTCC race at the famed 25km Nürburgring layout. And of course they chose the Nürburgring, after all the Type R did just set a lap record for a front-wheel drive hot hatch, lapping the track in an awe-inspiring 7:50.63 sec. That’s nearly 4 seconds quicker than what Renault’s amazing Megane RS 275 Trophy-R managed!
