Michael Simcoe, GM International vice president of Design said, “The new Spark’s design has evolved and grown up with the segment. The youthful whimsy of the original Spark is still in its genes, but it is conveyed in more traditional proportions that reinforce the customer’s refined expectations.”
Chevrolet has not revealed any technical information as yet, but like its predecessor, the new Chevrolet Spark is developed by GM Asia (formerly Daewoo) and shares the same platform as the Vauxhall Viva. The all-new Chevrolet Spark is also said to have a range of engines, including Chevrolet’s new 1.0-litre 3 pot.
