International crude oil prices are slowly climbing back up, and thanks to that, we may be seeing an increase in petrol prices for March. What would the prices be like?
For starters, we believe that the RON95 could increase back to the RM1.90 per litre price, while RON97 could also see a similar price increase. Diesel too, would also increase in price.
At the moment, the Brend crude oil price is roughly $60, compared to the $48 it was back in January. The drop in Brend crude oil gave us the momentary chance to enjoy petrol at a lower rate, but that didn’t stay for long.
The government has scrapped its fuel subsidies, and experts have claimed that petrol prices will remain low for a foreseeable future, and may possibly drop in the coming months. The government has predicted that crude oil prices will average at about $55 for the rest of the year.
