The 2015 Perodua Myvi that was launched just yesterday has scored 4-Star in Adult Occupant Protection rating (AOP) with 11.55 points compared to the previous version that scored 3-Star (AOP) with 8.71 points (tested January 2013). This “all-time best-selling model in the history of the Malaysian car market”, has also an improved score in Child Occupant Protection (COP) of 71 % (as compared to 54%), thus it’s rated as 4-Star.
During the official launch ceremony of the 2015 Perodua Myvi in Kuala Lumpur recently, MIROS Director General Profesor Dr Wong Shaw Voon presented the ASEAN NCAP certificate to Perodua President & CEO, YBhg Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh.
According to Perodua, the structure of the new Perodua Myvi has been enhanced to better withstand frontal impacts in line with global standards. Apart from that, the new Perodua Myvi comes equipped with dual front airbags, ABS, EBD and BA (for Premium X, SE and Advance variants) and ISOFIX child restraint system and a rear 3-point seat belt across all variants.
