Clad in a shade of yellow called Sunrise Yellow, the new Subaru XV Crosstrek Special Edition will not only turn heads, but also blind pedestrians. Get your sunglasses ready then.
This United States-only model will feature dark-tinted privacy glass as standard, and a power moonroof. Besides that, the XV Crosstrek Special Edition will have body-coloured side mirrors with integrated turn signals as standard. For convenience, this limited edition XV gains Keyless Access with Push-Button Start button as well as Pin Code Access. Subaru has also included a leather wrapped gear shifter and steering wheel.
For entertainment, Subaru has thrown in a STARLINK™ Multimedia audio system integrated into the 7-inch LCD touchscreen display. The sound system is backed by 6 speakers and also sports SiriusXM® Satellite Radio. 2 USB ports come as standard on the XV.
Under the hood, the XV Crosstrek Special Edition remains the same as the stock XV. Buyers will find Subaru’s tried-and-tested 2.0-litre Subaru boxer engine with 148 horsepower mated to a Lineartronic CVT. Also standard for the XV is Subaru’s Asymmetrical all-wheel-drive system.
The Subaru 2.0-liter Subaru XV Crosstrek Special Edition will be limited to just 1,000 units, and is priced at $25,290 (RM90,234 before tax & excise duty).
