Spied here, is Porsche’s most hardcore Cayman model, the GT4. Unlike previous shots however, this one is void of any form of camouflage, which hints of an almost-production ready car. (Image credit: tiemstcars for autogespot)
Like its bigger brother the 911 GT3, the Cayman GT4 is aimed to be both a comfortable daily drive, and also a track-going monster.
Visually, the different front bumper with larger air intakes, a more prominent front splitter, a new front air duct, a newly designed rear diffuser and fixed-position rear wing sets the Cayman GT4 apart from it’s regular cousin. Besides that, the Cayman GT4 also rides lower than the regular Cayman, and the bigger brakes are hidden behind newly designed wheels.
Under the hood, the Cayman GT4 is said to be powered by a 3.8-litre flat-6 from the Porsche 911. Power is said to be in the range of 400 horsepower. Other sources have claimed that the Cayman GT4 could also come with a turbocharged four banger paired to a hybrid powertrain. Porsche is likely going to offer the Cayman GT4 in both PDK and manual options.

After the Porsche Cayman GT4 above got spied, here comes another. This time around, Instagram user Johan9ff spied this practically zero camouflage Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Sitting above the 911 GT3, the 911 GT3 RS looks exactly like the 911 GT3, but with added air vents on the front fender, for brake cooling purposes. Besides that, the rear wing too, gets the steroid treatment, and is even larger than the one found on the 911 GT3.
Under the hood, power figures are said to be in the 500 horsepower range, likely force fed as well. ,This is a break from convention, as the 911 GT3 RS’s predecessors were all naturally aspirated. Like the 911 GT3, we dare say that the hotter 911 GT3 RS will come only with a PDK option.
Stay tuned for more updates on Porsche’s exciting 2015.
