Honda Malaysia has initiated its Flood Relief Programme to aid Honda customers whose cars are affected by the flood. This programme is a small effort to assist their customers and help ease the burden of repairs for their cars.
The company is providing parts discount of 50% off all genuine parts that were affected by the flood with immediate effect and will run until 31 March 2015. This effort is to help Honda owners affected by the severe flood, which has now distressed 9 states in Malaysia.
Customers are advised to bring along their police report on the damaged car and insurance cover note to any Honda dealers in the affected areas to have their car assessed and damage repaired once the flood situation has subsided. This year happens to be the worst flood season in more than a decade where is has forced nearly 160,000 citizen from their homes especially in the northern region. The continuous heavy rain is expected to last for at least another week and it would take a few days before the water levels to subside.
