BMW Unveils the Facelifted M6

BMW has just introduced their latest face-lifted M6 range of cars, which includes the Coupe, Convertible and the Gran Coupe versions. Personally, I find that in most of BMW’s range of cars, whenever they introduce a face-lift model, it makes the previous model looks outdated. In the case of the M6, which was my favourite BMW car until the i8 was released, it is tough for BMW to really improve on what was already a great looking car.

Which is why  the face lifted versions have only very subtle changes. These cars receive a new front end as well as new standard-fitted LED headlights. It also includes the M‑specific double-bar kidney grille and eye-catching front apron with large air intakes.

It would really take a real M6 lover to spot the small differences. Still, the M6 is indeed a very handsome car, a good compliment of power and both size which makes it a great tourer. If I had the chance, I would tour Europe in one of these bad boys.

Due to be showcased during the Detroit Motorshow in January, the M6 is still one of my favourite looking cars. Powered by a 4.4 V8 engine producing 560hp and 680 metal twisting torque (in Nm), the M6 does the century sprint in 4.2 secs (4.3 by the M6 convertible). Beauty, sleekness and pure power. A combination most folks would approve.
