Porsche launches a cornucopia of new products to see out 2013

Panamera Turbo S

As of November 19, 2013, Porsche will unveil a total of three new models at automotive trade fairs in Los Angeles (USA), Tokyo (Japan) and Guangzhou (China). The highlight of this marathon of trade fair appearances will be Porsche’s entry into a completely new vehicle segment. The world premiere of the Macan at the Los Angeles Auto Show signals the official start of the new compact SUV. The 911 Turbo Cabriolet will also be making its début in Los Angeles, while the Panamera Turbo S and Turbo S Executive models will be unveiled for the first time at the Tokyo Motor Show. At almost the same time, the 918 Spyder super sportscar will be premiered to the Chinese and US public at the automotive trade fairs in Guangzhou and Los Angeles.

Porsche is showcasing its new SUV for the first time in Los Angeles at the Porsche stand in the Petree Hall. The model will be unveiled on the eve of the trade fair event on November 19, at 19:55 (November 20, 3:55 CET). This premiere of the Porsche Macan will be broadcast live at the following link: The press conference will take place on November 20 at 11:35 (November 20, 21:35 CET). The press conference from the Tokyo Motor Show, in which the two Panamera Turbo S models will be unveiled for the very first time, will take place on November 20 at 13:15 (November 20, 4:10 CET).

911 Turbo S Cabriolet

The 911 Turbo Cabriolet and 911 Turbo S Cabriolet will also be showcased in Los Angeles. The open-top 911 Turbo models deliver the same blend of dynamism, performance and efficiency offered by the Coupé models unveiled a few months ago: The double turbocharged 3.8-litre six-cylinder engine delivers 520 bhp (383 kW) in the open-top 911 Turbo and 560 bhp (412 kW) in the S model, with the vehicles reaching a top speed of up to 318 km/h. And all this while achieving fuel consumption figures below the ten-litre limit: Both of the new top-of-the-range Cabriolet models rest assured in the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC), boasting figures of 9.9 litres/100 km (equivalent to 231 g/km CO2).

Panamera Turbo S Executive

In Tokyo, Porsche is showcasing performance and luxury for discerning drivers. At this event, Porsche is presenting the fastest, most powerful and most luxurious model in the Panamera range: With a power output of 570 bhp and a top speed of 310 km/h, plus a particularly extensive and top-quality range of features, the Panamera Turbo S is guaranteed a special status in its market segment. For the first time ever, an Executive version of the Panamera Turbo S is also available with a wheelbase that has been extended by 15 centimetres.

The 918 Spyder is making its début in China and the USA. This model represents the continuation of the traditional Porsche DNA in a ground-breaking sportscar concept. Designed from the start to be a high-performance hybrid, the 918 Spyder boasts an unprecedented combination of performance (offering the 887-bhp output of a super sportscar) and the virtually silent locomotion of an electric vehicle. The vehicle is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and offers a standard level of fuel consumption of between 3.1 and 3.0 litres/100 km.
