It came to our attention that several photographs are currently being circulated on various social media that depict a Perodua Alza’s rear-end axle separated from its frame, seen on the photo above.
Netizens who saw the photo were quick to judge Perodua Alza’s reliability claiming that the rear axle is not fully tightened during assembly causing the rear-end to separate easily. Therefore, Perodua has issued an official statement to clarify this matter.
“We wish to clarify that the damage shown in said picture was caused by a collision between the Perodua Alza with another vehicle. In some postings, netizens have claimed that the vehicle was faulty due to poor quality control. We would like to reiterate that Perodua do not compromise on quality and quality control whether during production, sales and even our after sales services.

While we would like to thank all our customers for their support; Perodua will take whatever necessary action to protect its name and image from any form of slander and/or libel.
