A 300bhp superbike. That is what Kawasaki just did to raise the bar even higher with the new Ninja H2 superbike, which has just been revealed at INTERMOT 2014, the motorcycle show in Cologne, Germany. Also, this is not your ordinary superbike, but it is a supercharged bike!

Set to become Kawasaki’s flagship motorcycle, the new supercharged Ninja will come with two forms, H2 (street version) and H2R (track edition), and the pics shown here are the H2R edition. The H2R has also dethroned BMW’s S1000RR and even MotoGP to become the world’s powerful motorcycle ever, for now.

Propelling this bike to levels of insanity is a 998cc inline-four with a centrifugal supercharger mounted on top of the engine. New to this bike is Kawasaki’s trellis frame to provide stability, useful especially at high speeds. These technologies are just a fraction of witchcrafts done by the mad boffins at Kawasaki.

Kawasaki even claimed that this bike was made “to offer the kind of acceleration most riders had never experienced.” Also, the H2R is not road-legal, as the toned-down H2 should make to the streets soon. Call it stealth fighter, the widowmaker or bullet, but the new Ninja H2R is set to chew tarmac like never seen before!
