Does the colour of the car divulge what type of a person you are? Apparently, it does as claimed from a survey carried out by Flexed.co.uk. A total of 1550 drivers from the UK were surveyed and the results will surprise you!
To start, let’s go with the most popular one – white. It is believed that white car owners are the most family-oriented ones as they are likely to own a family car. They are also big fans of modernity, which may explain why you “may” have an iPhone in your pocket.
Another popular choice, silver, is believed to consist of drivers who drive their cars carefully and tend to be more mature. Here’s a tip if you’re looking for a used car, find the one in silver.
Are you dangerous, rebellious and powerful? Then the car that is parked under your pouch must be in black as studies shows those whose own black colour cars are ‘more likely’ to be involved in an accident and a road rage incident. Speaking of which, those who own a red colour car aren’t far-off from their black-car counterparts as they have a greater likelihood of being ‘angry’ while behind the wheel.
On the other side of the spectrum, drivers of blue cars are known to be pretty positive people – happy, confident, well-mannered. Predictably, drivers of brown cars are known to be as dull and most likely to be a victim in an accident. Those who drive green coloured cars are not known as treehuggers, but instead they are unfashionable and unlikely to let people out of a junction.
As amusing as the results sound, do you agree with the “colour stereotype” as found in this survey?
