If you happen to be in Pavilion in KL anytime from 23rd to 27th October 2013, head over to the main concourse area and have a gander at the new Renault Megane RS Red Bull Racing RB8. One of only 15 units that have been brought into the country by TC Euro Cars (a subsidiary of Edaran Tan Chong Motor, the official importers and distributors of Nissan in Malaysia) the local custodians of the French marque, the RB8 is a special edition in Twilight Blue, and only 815 units have been produced worldwide.
The RB8 features a ‘cup chassis’, limited-slip differential, the exquisite 2.0 16V 265 engine, and trademark RenaultSport technologies. This limited-edition model was created by Renault and Red Bull to celebrate their third F1 Constructors world title. Malaysia gets 15 units of this exquisite beast, which retails for RM252,888 on-the-road with insurance.
