Just like other carmakers, it appears that Kia has picked up the bad habit of teasing, something which they didn’t do before, when their models were exclusively bargain basement.
So following the recent teased exterior photo of the upcoming new Sorento SUV, it’s now time for them to show us a stylized interpretation of the interior in sketch. Only one shot was released and it shows a dashboard that’s in-line with what the company is doing elsewhere in its range.
According to Kia, “the smoothly-contoured cabin features a higher proportion of soft-touch materials, leather and stitching, as well as Kia’s latest HMI (human-machine interface). A large infotainment screen dominates the centre of the dashboard, which employs long, flowing shapes to cosset the driver and front passenger and to emphasise the width and space of the larger cabin.”
That’s all the details we’ve gathered so far with the official debut set to take place on 2nd October 2014 at the Paris Motor Show. It seems that Kia is becoming too European in its approach to announcing and ultimately revealing new models, don’t you think?
