Five Shell Helix users will be on their way to Belgium to enjoy ‘The Ultimate Ferrari Experience’ after beating five others in the finale of the Shell Helix ‘The Ultimate Ferrari Experience’ global promotion at the Speedway PLUS Go-Kart Circuit recently.
The five Grand Prize winners will join the winners from around the world for a 5-day 4-night all-expenses paid VIP trip to Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, to watch the 2014 Belgian Formula One Grand Prix at the end of August. There, they will have access to the Shell hospitality suite, spend time with the Scuderia Ferrari team and enjoy a behind-the-scene paddock tour.
The five are Mr Kok Tuck Choon, 45, from Kuala Lumpur; Mr Low Ken Chin, 29, from Kuala Lumpur; Encik Mohammad Sukhri Hadafi bin Mohammad Hanif, 29, from Perak; Dr Muhammad Yusuf bin Abdurrahman, 30, from Johor; and Mr Wong Ken Hou, 28, from Selangor.
They accumulated the five highest scores in a quiz; go-kart hunt and time trial, specially organised to select the winners of this year’s edition of the popular Shell Helix consumer contest.
For paramedic Mohd Sukhri who brought along his wife and new-born son to the event, the trip from Seri Manjung was well worth it.
“I was confident but to finally be declared as one of the winners is still a shock to me,” he said.
Ophthalmologist Dr Muhammad Yusuf was equally delighted with his win as the life-long Shell Helix user had to travel all the way from Segamat, Johor where he was based.
“My whole family has been using Shell Helix Motorcycle Oils for as long as I can remember. It is a brand that we absolutely trust for its superior performance and reliability. I am thrilled and excited with the trip,” he said.
For Wong Ken Hou, it has been 10 years since he first started to use Shell Helix with his very first car and his loyalty has paid off handsomely.
“This will be my first trip to Europe, thanks to Shell Helix. I have tried other brands but they could never offer the same smoothness and power,” he said.
According to Shell Lubricants Marketing Manager Alex Lim, this year’s Shell Helix global promotion attracted a record-breaking 80,000 entries, more than double that of last year’s.
