The Kia Sorento SUV has been around in Malaysia for quite some time and was once even rebadged as a Naza Sorento. The current Sorento was introduced back in 2009, hence a replacement model is timely. Just before the third generation Sorento makes its debut in the coming months, Kia-World has provided a teaser of the exterior of the new Sorento.
As seen in the images here, the design of the new Sorento will sport a diamond-pattern grille, connecting headlights, and horizontal taillights. The new Sorento is tipped to be powered by either 2.0-litre turbo petrol unit, 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine and 3.3-litre V6 petrol, with the diesel likely to be introduced in Malaysia.
The new Sorento will make its worldwide debut in Korea in September and will be featured at the Paris and Los Angeles Motorshows by the end of 2014. NazaKia should bring the new Sorento into Malaysia by 2015.
