In the anime series, Initial D, we saw the likes of a young boy who learned and honed his drifting skills by driving everyday along the winding slopes of Mount Akina just to delivery tofu. In the same spirit, Subaru hopes that if you indeed live like really far away from civilization, your morning daily routine to the bakery to get bread might just prepare you well enough for the next World Rallying Competition.
In Subaru’s latest advertisement, a man hopes to please his partner by ensuring that there is bread in the morning for breakfast. Since he noticed that they ran out of bread, he took out his Subaru WRX STI for a quick spin. That meant driving at high speeds as well as drifting through routes which are off-road towards a bakery where he can quickly grab (literally) a baguette. Of course every morning, bakers just tend to just stand outside their shops waiting for the next customer to perform a circle drift around them in order to hand them their bread.
