These images were leaked online recently, and it clearly shows what’s rumoured to be the new Perodua Viva replacement. It certainly looks like a logical successor to the Viva in terms of exterior dimensions. The most radical difference is the front-end treatment which features a gigantic ‘honeycombed latticed’ front grille and upswept headlights. Note the presence of a current generation Viva in the photo above, as well as a MyVi in the picture below.
Is Perodua using the MyVi as a benchmark to make the Viva more upmarket, and using the current Viva as a base of what to improve and where? Furthermore, this new Perodua does bear more than just a passing resemblance to the Daihatsu Ayla (below) doesn’t it? And we all know which carmaker is partnered with Perodua don’t we?
