As we know it, supercars are built in Europe, Japan or America; hence having one to be built outside these aforementioned nations does sound special. In this case, there’s a new supercar emerging from our neighbour. That’s right, meet the Aurelio, the supercar maker from the Philippines!
As seen in the images here, the Aurelio’s front and back are clearly inspired by a Ferrari 458 Italia while the side there are hints from McLaren. There are two engine choices for the Aurelio – Honda B16A VTEC or Mitsubishi 4G63T 2.0-litre turbocharged engine.
While details remain sketchy at this point, to be honest, it looks like a kit-car rather than a full-fledged supercar. Also, the engine choices are not exactly supercar-territory but hopefully a lighter chassis will compensate for the power deficit. Stat tuned for more updates!
