Two real images of Proton’s upcoming B-segment supermini, codenamed P2-30A or Global Small Car (GSC), were found leaked on the Internet, and this time we get to take a good view on the car’s front and back.
Judging from the size, it is a tall looking supermini, hinting what a crossover version of the ever popular Perodua Myvi would look like. On the aesthetic side, judging by the front of the car, it does look handsome. Notably, the huge lower radiator grille does reassemble the one from the sixth generation pre-facelift Ford Fiesta. Meanwhile at the back, Proton is taking design cues from the Hyundai i10. Which may not be that good a thing.
However until now, Proton has remained silent on the car’s specs. Over the past few months, the car’s test mule was spotted by some eagle-eyed Malaysians. The GSC is set to be launched sometime by this year and is rumoured to be the first Proton car to be powered by Proton’s new NFE engine.
So, what do you think of this design? Will Proton be able to have better luck with this new supermini model after the Savvy fumbled?
