Shell Advance will be holding a Shell Advance Street Carnival at Jalan Sentul, Kuala Lumpur this Saturday, on June 14, 2014 from 10.00 am till 6.00 pm.
A total of seven motorcycle workshops behind the Sentul Police Station including NKS Trading, NKS Sport Bikers, L & S Motor Parts, T W Motor Supplies, Speed Power Accessories, Sentul Motor, and Yulite Enterprise will be participating in the carnival to offer motorcycle owners a fun-filled and rewarding experience.
Visitors will be given discount vouchers for their next purchase with every Shell Advance Ride-On Promotion pack of motorcycle engine oil that they purchase during the carnival. They will also have the opportunity to win exclusive Shell Advance T-shirts, keychains, lanyards and other premiums with the purchase of any special Shell Advance promotional pack.
The star of the Shell Advance Street Carnival will be the Shell Advance On Wheels Truck. The customised truck features a bike simulator for the special Time Trial Challenge. Participants who post the fastest times will stand a chance to win tickets to the 2014 Malaysian MotoGP race this October.
According to Shell Lubricants Marketing Manager Alex Lim, the Shell Advance Street Carnival was aimed at not only promoting the complete range of motorcycle engine oils, including the newly launched Shell Advance AX 5 4T 15W40 Scooter Oil, but also to promote the inaugural Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup (SAATC).
“SAATC is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train and race at a very competitive level. Shell Advance is the title sponsor of this world-class competition to unearth young talents. This year, seven of the 22 selected riders are Malaysians and we hope to rally the public behind our young riders as they take on their peers from other Asian countries. We certainly hope to see more Malaysian talents compete at the highest levels of the sport,” he said.
To further promote SAATC, the Shell Advance consumer promotion this year will reward three lucky Grand Prize winners with an exclusive replica SAATC race bike and a VIP experience at the 2014 Malaysian MotoGP at Sepang this October. The SMS-based contest runs from 1 May till 1 August 2014 in Peninsula Malaysia and from 1 June till 1 August 2014 in Sabah and Sarawak.
