Following the implementation of Goods & Services Tax (GST) which took effect on 1st April 2015, Bermaz Motor Sdn Bhd, the official importer and distributor or Mazda cars in Malaysia has announced a price reduction for its selected models sold across Malaysia…
While its current Mazda3, CX5, Mazda6 and BT50 models have received a reduction in price of between RM500 to RM7,000. Other models, namely the CX9, Biante, Mazda8, Mazda5, as well as the recently launched Mazda2 (below) retain the same price tag.
What’s more interesting is that Bermaz Motor has confirmed that the company will introduce the all-new Mazda3 2.0 SkyActiv on 8th April 2015 with the official price (with GST) set to be revealed closer to or on the launch date. Well, this should be rather interesting because their French competitor has selected the same date to launch their new C-segment model as well, the new Peugeot 308.
