Despite not being able to fit in into this year’s theme at the Kuala Lumpur International Show (KLIMS) dubbed “efficiency in motion”, classic American cars have uniqueness that no one can understand until you drive one and feel it.
The golden age of classic American cars can be dated from the fifties until the late seventies when American car manufacturers churn out cars with huge V8-block engines. The most iconic of it all is perhaps the Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Charger, Chevrolet Corvette, and Chevrolet Camaro and so on. A loud growl and straight line speeds were the name of the game for these muscle cars although words like “efficient” and “handling” is definitely an oxymoron to the term American Muscle. Today, Classic American cars are still well sought after and a decent classic American car today can be as costly as a new sports car sold in the United States.
Located at Hall 4 and thanks to the efforts of RAINBIRD CLASSIC, and with aesthetics beautified by Auto Glym car detailing products, we can view a wide display of American classic cars in KLIMs, ranging from the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Corvette Stringray, Pontiac GTO, Dodge Charger and many more. Also on display is the car that changed the automotive industry, the Ford Model T pickup.
The display of such cars is in fact refreshing from the prototypes and new cars usually associated to International Motor Shows. As much as we would like to share our photos with you all, trust me, you can enjoy the cars better in person.
