It has been a few months since the passing of Paul Walker of the Fast and Furious franchise in an accident where he and his friend, Roger Rodas, in a Porsche Carrera GT. Ever since the incident, the studio had taken a short break and then also decided to continue filming the episode of “Fast & Furious 7”.

How would they actually pull it off to complete the filming with Paul Walker? Well, definitely with all of Hollywood’s best the studio has pulled in Paul’s brothers, Cody and Caleb Walker to assist in the filming to give Paul Walker’s character the proper send off in the franchise. Using a series of body doubles and CGI trickery to replace the faces of the body doubles, the studio has also gone to recruit Weta, the team responsible for the graphics for the Lord of the Rings series.

Because of the delays as well as the additional work required, the cost of the movie production has ballooned to USD$250million (originally budgeted at USD$200million). Hence the studio is seeking an additional USD$50million from their insurers as a payout due to the death of Paul Walker.
