Skoda has just unveiled its city car concept in conjunction of VW’s Worthersee festival. Take a good look at it and we wouldn’t be surprised if it put a smile on your face!
This funky concept car is the result of Skoda allowing 16 students from its internal vocational school to unleash their creativity on Skoda’s concept. The project was used to foster the creativity and growth among the students in that vocational program. We think the students deserve an “A” as the result of this project.
The Skoda CitiJet will be powered by a 1.0-litre engine producing 75bhp, but who cares about the performance as this concept is seriously interesting to look at and could make other city cars as exciting as watching paint dry.
The Skoda CitiJet will become’s Skoda entry to fend off other VW’s creative cars on the Worthersee festival, including the maniacal Audi S3 Clubsport we covered previously. Will the cheap and cheerful overcome the mighty? We shall see, at Worthersee!
