KTM 390 Duke Battle Malaysia 2014

Round one of the KTM 390 Duke Battle Malaysia was held on the 19-20th of April where 15 Malaysians competed in a race for supremacy at the Melaka International Motorsport Circuit (MIMC). The event was supported by KTM Malaysia, who prepared all the bikes and racing suits for all participants.

The race weekend saw two races, consisted of 10-lap sprint races that gathered encouraging feedback from the crowd. At the end, Abdul Wafi Hassan emerged as the winner of round one, followed by Mohd Azrald Azmi in second place and Hamizudin Aizat Ahadin in third. Both of the champion and vice-champion are eligible to participate in the finale at Sepang on December, where the winner of the race series will ride home a new KTM 200 Duke worth RM15,888. The 9-round race series is aimed at aspiring racer aged 18 to 40 with a valid license from MAM.

So if you love riding and have a spirit of competition, the “KTM 390 Duke Battle” will be an excellent platform to race in a safe and secured environment. And if you want a new KTM Duke 200 bike, you may want to duke (pun, unintended) out in the next race in May 24-25 in Pahang!
