This just in, if you felt shy walking into a Ferrari showroom and wanting to plop a lot of cash on the table, you can now do it at the comfort of your own home. That is right, a Ferrari California is on sale on Groupon Malaysia and all you need to do is plonk down a RM5,000 downpayment via Groupon and they will proceed to order the car for you.
Of course there are the fine prints, the car’s original price is RM800,000 and will be subject to a RM400,000 duty. So that means after paying the RM5,000 as a downpayment you still need to fork out RM1,195,000. This is only after you have test driven the car and inspected it as well. So far no information is provided about the AP Permit, Warranty and other stuff such as insurance so the sum mentioned may not necessarily be the on the road price.
I guess this is the first step towards future car owners buying their next cars on the internet.
