Introducing the Honqi (no, really) L5 limousine. It is China’s most expensive car ever made and it has just been delivered to a customer in Nanjing, China. Wang Zhonghua, the man who runs a chain of furniture malls in China, will be the first lucky owner of the Honqi L5 limo after paying at least 5 million yuan. However, Mr Wang needs to wait for three months before he can drive home (or to be chauffeured to be exact!) in his new limo!
The Honqi L5 limousine is manufactured by FAW and it is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 producing 402bhp and 452 Nm mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox, with all-wheel drive. The Honqi L5 weights a gargantuan 3 tonnes. As expected, this 5.5m long, 2m wide and 1.5m tall vehicle has acres of leather and wood inside.
It was also reported that for the price of the Honqi L5 limo, you can purchase the Ferrari FF in China. But perhaps Mr.Wang loves comfort and values China made products more than horsepower. We’ll leave it to you to decide about its looks though…
